The Story Behind Field And Fire Bushcraft
Hey everyone, I’m Ben
Long before I started Field and Fire Bushcraft, the wilderness was my personal escape. I found myself craving a break from the constant noise and rush of modern, daily life, and the woods provided exactly what I needed—peace, quiet, and a place to reset.
For me, bushcraft is all about stripping away the distractions and getting back to basics. I love the constant challenge of learning a new skill, whether that is perfecting a friction fire or understanding the local landscape. Nature has an incredible way of clearing your mind, and I wanted to share that feeling.
My guiding philosophy is that learning outdoor skills shouldn't be stressful or intimidating. My sessions are highly interactive, hands-on, and professional, but delivered with a completely relaxing atmosphere. We will learn together, but we will also take the time to slow down, relax, and actually enjoy being among the trees.
